The overall objective of the project is to ensure direct and improved connectivity to the TEN-T network through the rehabilitation and modernisation of 4,055 km on the county road DJ 101 in Ilfov County. The aim of the project is the rehabilitation and modernization of DJ 101, generating a significant impact on increasing the accessibility of the areas (Buftea-Tamași) and of the Bucharest Municipality located in the proximity of the TEN-T network and, implicitly, of the economic growth. Moreover, the development and modernisation of the county road network connected to the TEN-T and its reorientation towards sustainable, safe, integrated, smart and resilient multimodal mobility will increase the level of attractiveness and utility for passengers and goods.
