The main purpose of this project is to develop a modern biomass heating system in public buildings in Brețcu Commune, Covasna County. The project contributes to increasing heat production through the use of local renewable resources, namely biomass. This initiative is of strategic importance given the need for the transition to a low-carbon economy, increased energy efficiency and support to rural communities in exploiting renewable resources. By implementing the project, a shredder and two plants equipped with biomass boilers will be installed, ensuring a more efficient and sustainable supply of heat for public buildings in the commune. At the same time, as an additional indicator, the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is an important objective, with an estimated impact of 334.55 tonnes CO2 equivalent/year, contributing to the achievement of targets.
