The overall objective of the project is to improve the quality of life of the residents of Resita through urban regeneration, focused on the rehabilitation and expansion of green spaces, and the creation of sustainable and accessible urban environments that contribute to the physical and mental well-being of the community. Thus, the project aims to increase the access of the population to attractive and quality public spaces by transforming and revitalizing densely populated areas inside Resita. The project meets specific objective 5.1 of Priority 7 of the West Regional Operational Programme through investments consisting in the reconfiguration and reorganisation of the public space related to Micro-Raion 4, by creating a natural and recreational environment for the entire district covered by this investment and by including these areas in socio-cultural and community activities.
