The overall objective of the investment project is to develop the local public transport service by bus, by introducing 4 new hard-to-reach routes and purchasing environmentally friendly means of transport that will contribute to increasing the quality of life in the Resita community. Thus, the project develops urban mobility by shifting the focus from mobility based on the use of cars to mobility based on the use of high quality and efficient public transport. The project meets specific objective 2.8 of Priority 4 of the West Regional Operational Programme through investments consisting in the purchase of zero-emission minibuses for clean urban transport, including charging stations for them.
