The overall objective of the project is to improve the quality of life of the residents of Resita through urban regeneration, focused on the rehabilitation and expansion of green spaces, the modernisation of the Tricolor Park and the creation of sustainable and accessible urban environments that contribute to the physical and mental well-being of the community. Thus, the project aims to increase the access of the population to attractive and quality public spaces by transforming and revitalizing densely populated areas inside Resita. The project meets the specific objective 5.1 of Priority 7 of the West Regional Operational Programme through investments consisting in the reconfiguration and reorganization of the public space related to the residential area located south of Caransebeşului Road (Homes area), by restoring the natural environment in Tricolorului Park and by including these areas in socio-cultural activities and dedicated activities.
