The overall objective of the project "GORJ CONNECT - Ready for Tomorrow!" is to increase social inclusion and access to the labour market for a target group of 1,600 young people from Gorj County, including at least 160 Roma people, vulnerable young people and NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). In a context marked by the economic transition and restructuring of traditional industries, the project offers a set of integrated support measures aimed at increasing the chances of young people in Gorj to access a job and develop their skills to adapt to the current demands of the labour market. The project runs for 36 months and its activities are designed to respond specifically to the needs of the target group, through interventions including the development of a network of youth centres (a fixed and a mobile centre) and the implementation of tailored services. They are oriented towards both non-formal education and personal development
