General objective: the creation of a modern and functional research centre to increase the competitiveness of the vegetable sector by strengthening regional RDI capacity. The Centre takes a participatory approach and involves the win win-win cooperation of the relevant actors of the food agri-food chain in the NE Region: research and education units, farmers, households, processors, traders of agricultural products and planting stock, consumers. During the implementation period: The project proposal is designed in accordance with the vision of the North-East RIS3 strategy and will significantly contribute to the obtaining and promotion of regional products in the North-East Region through the superior valorization of local agricultural and non-agricultural products.
