The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of the Growth Pole of Brasov (PMUD) and the Integrated Urban Development Strategy of Brasov (SIDU) highlighted among the main problems affecting the quality of life and mobility in the municipality of Brasov and its functional area the air and noise pollution caused especially by the heavy road traffic in the municipality. This is because the public transport system is not attractive, so a large share of residents, commuters and tourists prefer to use private cars, generating the negative consequences mentioned. Thus, the aim of the project is to increase the quality of life of the inhabitants of Brasov municipality by improving the environmental conditions as a result of achieving a sustainable transfer of part of the modal share of private car transport to public transport. The overall objective of the project is to reduce carbon emissions in the city of Brasov through attractive growth
