The overall objective of the project is to increase the capacity, quality and attractiveness of public passenger transport in Timisoara by purchasing 20 electric buses. By renewing the bus fleet, the project contributes to the specific objective of Regional Intervention 4.1 - Sustainable Urban Mobility. Within this specific objective, the focus is on developing more efficient and environmentally friendly public transport that reduces dependence on individual transport, improves existing infrastructure and contributes to the transition to a low-carbon economy. Another key aspect of the project is the implementation of green measures through the use of electric buses, which operate on the principle of "zero CO2 emissions". These buses will not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but will also help reduce urban noise, thus providing a healthier and more efficient alternative
