The aim of the project is to increase the railway capacity on the section between Tallinn and Rapla by building three railway stations that allow trains to pass and to reconstruct the section between Rapla and Lelle, as a result of which it is possible to increase the speed limit on the section up to 160 km/h. The project is planned to be carried out in the period 2023-2024 and the planned cost of the project is 25.9 million euros, of which 18.25 million euros will be financed from ECF and national co-financing funds.
