To increase the availability of water supply and wastewater management services and the efficiency of the system in the Residential Area. The objective of the project is in line with the objectives of the National Progress Plan and the Vilnius Regional Development Strategy mentioned above. Implementation of the Project would bring socio-economic benefits and achieve the following objectives of the Service: • Increase the share of the population supplied with drinking water services; • Increase the share of the population supplied with centrally provided wastewater treatment services; • Increase the proportion of water bodies in good status; • Increase the efficiency of the existing public drinking water supply and wastewater treatment plant; • Ensure proper implementation of environmental requirements.
