The aim of the project is to promote sustainable mobility in the city of Panevėžys in order to increase the mobility of the population and contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution. The project aims to integrate the cycle path from the western street to the Berčiūnai settlement into the city's overall non-motorised transport network by creating the missing link. This will improve the integrity of the urban cycling infrastructure network, increase sustainable mobility opportunities and contribute to reducing environmental pollution by creating favourable conditions for citizens to choose an alternative mode of transport using non-motorised vehicles.
