The aim of the project is to provide support to small (micro), small and medium-sized enterprises in Latvia in order to develop new tourism products or services with higher added value, thus contributing to the increase of the export capacity of the tourism industry and increasing their competitiveness on an international scale. Activities planned for the implementation of the project: Dissemination of information about the project, promoting interest of potential project applicants to participate in the project; Providing information and advice to potential project applicants on the preparation of the network's strategy and operational plan; Evaluation of potential network strategies with the involvement of industry experts and provision of opinions; Participation in meetings of network staff at least once a year; Providing training to network managers, marketing makers or staff by providing face-to-face or online lectures or seminars by local or foreign experts on networking, network management and ensuring internal coordination, developing new, innovative and accessible tourism products and services, conducting marketing activities or other topics based on networking requests or expert opinion; Organisation of networking events and a final conference presenting the results of the project; Providing support to cooperation networks in organizing joint marketing activities and involving tourism products developed by cooperation networks in national tourism marketing activities; Approval of the annual work plans of the cooperation networks, monitoring of the achievement of the indicators indicated in the project application and implementation of the included activities National indicators to be achieved in the project: by 31 December 2024, at least 10 opinions on the network strategy of potential project applicants (code N.1.2.3.6.a.); until 31 December 2029, the number of people involved in training organised by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (‘the Agency’) under this measure is not less than 50 (code N.1.2.3.6.b.); by 31 December 2029, at least five networking events (code N.1.2.3.6.c.) have been organised under this measure; one closing conference organised by 31 December 2029 as part of this event (code N.1.2.3.6.d); by 31 December 2029, Latvian tourism marketing strategy activities include at least eight new tourism products (code N.1.2.3.6.e). The project is planned to be implemented from Q4 2023 to 31 December 2029. The total eligible costs of the project are EUR 498 769, including EUR 423 953 from the European Regional Development Fund and EUR 74 816 from the State budget.
