The aim of the project is to develop the infrastructure of the pre-school education institution of Ogre municipality for the creation of new places for the reception of pre-school age children in order to promote the accessibility of pre-school education services of Ogre municipality municipalities in accordance with the principle of equal approach, including for socially and economically vulnerable groups of persons. In the kindergarten, renewable energy-producing equipment will be built (i.e. solar panels will be installed on the roof). The target group of the project is families raising pre-school age children and for which local governments, in the administrative territory of which the place of residence of these children is declared, cannot provide places in pre-school educational institutions of local governments, including groups of socially and economically vulnerable persons. Main project activities: 1. Construction works; 2. Construction supervision and author's supervision; 3. Provision of publicity measures (information poster and publications on the municipality's website). The planned results after the implementation of the project are the construction of a new pre-school educational institution where 248 children would learn. The total eligible costs of the project amount to EUR 6 362 287.01, of which EUR 5 000 000.00 is co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund. The duration of the project implementation is 24 months, but the planned start date of the project is December 2024 and the end date of the project implementation is December 2026.
