Reconstruction and restoration works of the Arsenāls Exhibition Hall Stage II

1. Main project activities 1.1. Update and transfer of the technical design to the BIM environment: To update and develop a digital model of the existing construction design documentation using the BIM methodology. Identify collisions between sections of the construction project in the BIM model. Ensure that the BIM model complies with current regulatory and technical standards. 1.2. Carrying out of construction works: Prepare a plan and schedule for the organisation of the work. Carry out dismantling works in accordance with the construction design. According to the construction design to carry out: 1) reconstruction works of load-bearing constructions, including roof, partitions, basement, etc., reconstruction works, construction of engineering networks.2) reconstruction works of engineering networks, including ventilation, heating, electricity, low-voltage, etc.3) reconstruction works of the section of Torņa Street from Arsenāla Street to Jēkaba Street, including connection of the external rainwater system to the central rainwater drainage system.4) restoration works. Ensure the use of high-quality and sustainable materials and compliance with the construction design. 1.3. Author supervision, construction supervision and BIM: Ensure the implementation of the project in accordance with the solutions of the construction project. Ensure that the BIM model is regularly updated, taking into account the observations of the construction supervision and the changes made to the construction design. To ensure the flow of information and cooperation between the builder, author's supervision, BIM specialists and the construction supervision team. 2.Planned results 2.1. Rebuilt and modernised exhibition hall: Physically renovated space that preserves historical values, but is adapted to modern needs and safety standards, including climate control in line with the requirements of holding works of art. Exhibition hall in the historical centre of Riga, which attracts visitors, offering modern opportunities for enjoying art and preserved cultural heritage. A modern working environment for museum employees. Number of visitors: 665 000. (2028-2033) 6 independent exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, 6 international cooperation projects, 12 scientific conferences and other 2770 events, including excursions, lectures, classes, thematic events, etc. 2.2. Creation and updating of the BIM model: A complete BIM model or digital twin of a building, which includes building structures, engineering systems and other important information for the full operation and management of the building. By using BIM, effective project management has been achieved, allowing quick response to changes and optimization of the workflow. 3.The total cost of the project is 17 744 108.06 EUR including VAT. 4.Project implementation period 01.09.2023 - 31.03.2028.
