The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations by improving civil dialogue at all stages of decision-making and thus strengthening trust in the country. Within the framework of the project, support will be provided to the target group of the project - associations and foundations, which represent the interests of social groups in civil dialogue with public administration at national, regional or municipal level. Actions to be supported by the project: a) strengthening the capacity of the target group, b) carrying out evaluations, studies, expertise and analysis, c) establishing and maintaining various cooperation mechanisms, d) implementing and developing participatory platforms and their digital solutions, e) organising information and educational events, f) ensuring communication and visual identity requirements, g) ensuring project management and project implementation.The project activities will result in the creation of four regional incubators aimed at strengthening the capacity and growth of civil society organisations, promoting the improvement of the NGO environment, cooperation and civil dialogue, participation in decision-making processes. Training will be organised, as a result of which the professional competence of 40 leaders and members of civil society organisations will be increased, the number of civil society organisations that have provided opinions on policy planning documents, laws and regulations and mutual cooperation within the sector will be promoted. In total, it is planned to carry out monitoring of 2500 policy planning documents and legislation within the framework of the project, preparing and submitting 50 opinions on draft policy planning and legislation affecting civil society issues and 50 opinions on policy planning documents and legislation and mutual cooperation within the sector. As a result, at least 50 non-governmental organisations will have provided opinions on policy planning documents and regulatory enactments, and at least 250 associations and foundations will have received support in implementing actions to strengthen the capacity of the target group and participating in activities implemented by regional NGO incubators.The project will be implemented together with a cooperation partner: the Latvian Civic Alliance. The total funding planned under the project is EUR 1-465 472, including EUR 1 245-651 from the European Social Fund Plus and EUR 219-821 from the State budget. The partner will be granted project funding for the implementation of the above-mentioned supported activities, which does not exceed 40 per cent of the total funding.The project implementation period is planned from 15 April 2024 to 31 December 2028.
