The aim of the project is, by rebuilding social housing buildings, to increase the usability of the local government-owned housing stock, ensuring the technical condition of such residential premises that conforms to dignified living conditions, while reducing the waiting time and waiting queue for receiving assistance in solving housing issues for socially and economically vulnerable persons.The project will implement the renovation of 3 residential buildings owned and not rented by the local government, in accordance with the developed construction projects:Reconstruction of the residential building into a local government apartment rental residential house at Lielupes Street 1 k-10, Riga; Social housing at 1 Dolomīta Street, Riga (1/2 reconstruction of the building);Reconstruction of a co-residential building of various social groups at 25A Prūšu Street, Riga. As a result of the implementation of the project activities, 38 apartments will be created in the building at Lielupes Street 1 k-10, including four group apartments. It is planned that 39 apartments will be created in the building at 1 Dolomīta Street. 78 apartments will be built in the building at 25A Prūšu Street. As a result of the reconstruction of three buildings, 151 apartments are planned for assistance in solving apartment issues. Thus, as a result of the implementation of the Project, 151 households will receive assistance from the local government in solving the apartment issue, accordingly, the queue for receiving assistance in solving the apartment issues provided for in Section 3, Clauses 1 and 2 of the Law "On Assistance in Solving Apartment Issues" will decrease by 8.04%. Third quarter of 2024 to fourth quarter of 2027 (41 months).Project funding: the total project budget of EUR 19 622 812.08 (nineteen million six hundred twenty-two thousand eight hundred twelve euros and eight cents), of which ERDF resources of EUR 7 650 000.00 (seven million six hundred fifty thousand euros and 00 cents) and municipal funding of EUR 11 972 812.08 (eleven million nine hundred seventy-two thousand eight hundred twelve euros and eight cents).
