The aim of the project "Renovation of Unrented Apartments Owned by Jelgava State Town Municipality" is to ensure access to housing suitable for dignified living conditions for socially and economically vulnerable persons living in Jelgava State Town and to reduce the queues in the municipality for renting such housing. The project planned activity "Renovation or reconstruction of certain groups of premises" includes simplified renovation of certain groups of premises, project management and implementation and provision of project publicity measures. Within the framework of the project, the municipality will renovate 18 unrented apartments owned by the municipality and transfer them for rent to persons of the target group. The total planned cost of the project is EUR 263 255.00, of which: European Regional Development Fund financing: EUR 223 767.00 and local authority co-financing: EUR 39 488.00. Project implementation period - from the 3rd quarter of 2024 to the 4th quarter of 2025.
