The project "Reconstruction of the social housing building "Kamenes"" envisages the reconstruction of the multi-apartment building owned by the municipality, constructing 12 separate, well-equipped, dignified housing for socially and economically vulnerable persons. The reconstruction project will provide solutions for the reconstruction of the building, renovation and insulation of the building envelopes, reconstruction of the roof by dismantling and appropriate utilization of the existing asbestos cement cover, environmental accessibility solutions will be complied with in the context of ensuring the requirements for evacuation in the event of fire, the recommendations of the Universal Design will be followed in the construction of the premises, providing for a full interior finish in each apartment, the bathrooms and toilets will be equipped with plumbing - a sink, a faucet, a pot and a bath or a shower cabin, and the kitchen is equipped with plumbing - a sink and a faucet. The surrounding area of the building will be landscaped, new bushes will be planted, new pavements will be built on the same level as the entrances to the building, bicycle racks, benches, waste collection containers will be placed. The selected project location is located in the real estate "Kamenes" in Svitene, Svitenes pag., Bauskas nov. (cadastre No 40880040409001). The planned (permitted) use of the land parcel with cadastre designation 40880040409 is a public building area. The building is located in the centre of Svitene village with easy access to public services, public transport. In accordance with the autonomous functions laid down in the Law on Local Governments, the municipality is obliged to provide residents with support in solving social problems, as well as the opportunity to receive social assistance and social services, as well as to provide residents with assistance in solving housing issues, as well as to promote the creation, maintenance and modernisation of the housing stock.The total planned costs of the project are up to EUR 1 088 622.48, ERDF funding EUR 612 000.00, co-financing of the municipality of Bauska Municipality EUR 478 622.48. 08.2024.- 12.2029.
