The project is implemented within the framework of measure 4.4.1.1 "Support for new approaches in the provision of community-based social services" of the specific support objective 4.4.1 "Promotion of social integration of persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion through social innovation" of the European Union Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027.The beneficiary of the project is the Society Integration Fund (in the project application - SIF).The objective of the project is to promote social innovations in the field of social services by ensuring the development of modern, human-friendly and up-to-date community-based social services.The main activities of the project are:• selection of social innovation ideas and social innovation project applications,• implementation of social innovation projects,• evaluation of the results of social innovation projects, • public awareness and awareness-raising activities on the implementation of social innovation projects• information and publicity activities on the implementation of the project• project management and ensuring its implementation.The project will support 12 national, regional or local public administrations or public services, 12 associations, foundations and enterprises. The support will result in the creation or development of at least 24 socially innovative community-based services. In the process of developing services, 480 target group representatives will receive support during the pilot phase. The total eligible funding of the project is EUR 10 202 272, of which the European Social Fund Plus funding is EUR 8 671 931 and the State budget co-financing is EUR 1 530 341. The project provides for cross-financing of the European Regional Development Fund support area costs for the implementation of community-based social service innovations (with a maximum of 18% of the funding available for the measure).The project implementation period is from June 2024 to June 2028, with costs allocated from March 2024.
