Project "Development of the system of professional qualifications for ensuring the quality of education" (hereinafter ? The direct objective of the project is to continue to ensure the successful introduction of new skills that meet the changing requirements of the labour market into the content and implementation of vocational education, while at the same time creating a unified cooperation mechanism and system for the management and updating of vocational education content infrastructure In order to achieve the objective of the project, the following main activities will be implemented:1.Determination and introduction of skills relevant to the labour market into the educational content for ensuring sustainability, digital and green economy in at least three sectors relevant to the Latvian economy, reduction of fragmentation of the educational offer and transformation of sectors:1.1.Development and implementation of sectoral expert councils, the National Centre for Education Content and the coordination mechanism of cooperation between vocational education institutions, including developing and approbating a unified methodological approach in all processes of content provision, implementation, implementation and evaluation, including improvement of sectoral qualification structures for the introduction of new skills, improvement of professional qualification requirements, determination of parts of the third, fourth and fifth level of the Latvian qualifications framework;1.2.Development and implementation of the principles and system of methodological work management of vocational education institutions in all content provision, the implementation, implementation and evaluation processes, including the development of competence-based content and the content of the professional qualification examination at the third, fourth and fifth levels of the Latvian Qualifications Framework, providing industry expertise for the developed content, implementation also in continuing vocational education, the development of sample examination programmes for modules and/or parts of qualifications, ensuring the approbation of the content of the modules and/or part of qualifications examinations;2. the provision of systemic support solutions for the quality of education and the flexibility of content, including the development of an approach ensuring the acquisition of educational content not acquired in previous education and the development of new modular vocational education programmes for licensing and the development of licensed modular vocational education programmes at the third, fourth and fifth levels of the Latvian Qualifications Framework; 3.Development of a mapping of vocational education teaching aids and development and acquisition of digital interactive teaching aids, as well as development of test programme samples and approbation of their content, for ensuring the acquisition of modules and/or parts of qualification, including for the implementation of work-based learning; 4.Establishment and maintenance of the digital platform "Professional Qualifications System", which ensures uniform management of the developed vocational education content and set of vocational qualification systems, functional and flexible content development and improvement, prevention of fragmentation of the educational offer, providing a digital service kit for content developers, vocational education implementers, sectoral expert councils, vocational education beginners and other interested parties, ensuring:5.improvement of the cooperation and implementation model of work-based learning in vocational education, ensuring the establishment of a stable and economically efficient cooperation system between vocational education institutions and employers, prioritising long-term cooperation between vocational education institutions and enterprises for the implementation of work-based learning, in order to ensure that the acquired professional qualification skills correspond to the actual situation and needs of the labour market and to facilitate the participation of sectors in the preparation of skilled future employees and facilitate the entry into employment of graduates of vocational education institutions.
