The project "Childcare services in Kekava county" is part of the specific support objective 4.3.6 "Promoting social integration of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion, including the most deprived and children" of the European Union Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027 under measure 4.3.6.6 "Childcare services". The main objective of the project is to provide support to up to 250 children for the purchase of private pre-school education service, which includes full licensed pre-school education programme acquisition, whose place of residence is declared in the administrative territory of Ķekava municipality and for whom places in municipal pre-school education institutions are not provided, thus promoting work-family life balance and equal opportunities for all families. Main project activities: the purchase of a private pre-primary education service consisting of full, licensed pre-primary education; measures to ensure communication and visual identity requirements for project implementation and project management. The total cost of the project is EUR 3 775 724.16, the amount of support from the European Social Fund Plus is 2 467 920.00, which is 65% of the total cost of the project. In turn, the project applicant's co-financing is EUR 1 307 804.16. Project implementation period from the 3rd quarter of 2024 to the 4th quarter of 2029, i.e. a total of 62 months.
