The aim of the project is to improve nature protection and biodiversity in the specially protected nature area in the nature park "Engures ezers", developing its nature protection plan and carrying out educational communication activities for the public about nature values. The target group of the project is Tukums and Talsi municipality, as well as the owners and residents of the territory of the nature park "Lake Engure". As a result of the project, a nature protection plan will be developed for the protected area of the nature park "Engures ezers" covering an area of 12 579 ha, as well as communication and visual identity measures will be implemented, including public education measures. The total eligible costs of the project are planned to be 263 417,00 EUR, of which the European Regional Development Fund financing 85%, amounting to 223 904,45,00 EUR and municipal budget co-financing 15%, amounting to 39 512,55 EUR. Project implementation period from the 4th quarter of 2024 to the 4th quarter of 2027.
