The aim of the project is to improve the infrastructure and learning environment of the special education institution, including ensuring accessibility at 46 Smilšu Street, Tukums, in order to increase the capacity of the special education institution in providing high-quality special education. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to improve the infrastructure and learning environment of the special education institution, including ensuring accessibility. The project will be implemented in several rounds. The total cost of the first stage project is planned to be 2 082 410,00 EUR. The amount of support from the European Regional Development Fund is planned to be 739 760,00 EUR, local government financing 1 342 650,00 EUR. The target group of the project is special educational institutions founded by local governments, their teachers and students. As a result of the project, renovation of 22 class premises and improvement of the accessibility of the environment in the building at 46 Smilšu Street, Tukums will be carried out. The project will be implemented from the date of conclusion of the contract until the 4th quarter of 2029.
