The aim of the project is to ensure increase of availability of community-based social services and provision of community-based social services to persons of the target group - adults with mental disorders, for whom a disability group I or II has been determined, children with functional disorders, for whom a disability has been determined and who live in families, persons of retirement age, including persons with dementia, based on assessment of individual needs of persons in cooperation with a medical practitioner, reducing the number of persons at risk of social exclusion and poverty in Tukums Municipality.The target group of the project is persons, who are defined in Paragraph 3, Sub-paragraphs 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 of Cabinet Regulation No 593, for whom community-based social services will be provided - group house (apartment) - for 2 adults with mental disorders, for whom a disability group I or II has been determined. Day care centre services - for 2 adults with mental disorders, for whom a disability group I or II has been determined, 2 children with functional disorders, for whom a disability has been determined and who live in families, 1 person in retirement age, including a person with dementia. And the service of specialized workshops - for 18 adults with mental disabilities, for whom a disability group I or II has been determined. As a result of the project, community-based social services will be provided to 25 target group persons in Tukums Municipality. Within the framework of the project, social services based on society shall be provided to one person of the target group for a maximum period of 24 months.The total eligible costs of the project are EUR 503 576.00, of which 85% are European Social Fund Plus financing EUR 428 039.60 and 15% municipal financing EUR 75 536.40.Deadline for the implementation of the project from Q2 2025 to Q3 2027.
