The aim of the project is to develop the public infrastructure of entrepreneurship and increase the amount of private investment in the functional area of Brocēni city of Saldus municipality by investing in the development of entrepreneurship in accordance with the development programme of Saldus municipality. The target group of the project is merchants and residents of the functional area of the town of Brocēni in Saldus municipality. The direct beneficiaries of the project are economic operators located in the project area and their employees, suppliers, local residents. The project plans to: 1.Exempted from commercial support:Liepnieku street carriageway 0.78 km, reconstruction of adjacent street ramps and public parking area, construction of pedestrian/bicycle path, reconstruction of engineering communications - street lighting, protection of engineering communications, road traffic equipment and renewal of rainwater drainage system - ditches, culverts and road drainage, as well as construction of improvement elements and creation of greenery. 2. Operations for water management (commercial support): It is planned to rebuild 0.77 km of main water pipes with branches, 0.76 km of household sewerage networks, 0.99 km of domestic sewerage pressure pipes and pumping station in all part of the road to be rebuilt. Result indicators are provided for in the implementation of the project: 7 economic operators benefiting from the developed public infrastructure; - 579 873 EUR salary fund increase in private companies; - EUR 773 164 private non-financial investment in intangible and fixed assets. As regards project indicators, the project shall include actions contributing to the horizontal principle of ‘Equality, inclusion, non-discrimination and respect for fundamental rights’: 1 site where access to environment and information is ensured as a result of ERDF funding investments (VINPI_12); The total eligible costs of the project are EUR 1 761 335.35 (including VAT), the amount of ERDF funding is EUR 1 159 745.44, which is 65.84% of the total project costs. The implementation of the project will start immediately after the conclusion of the agreement on the implementation of the project and will be implemented for a period of 21 months.
