The aim of the project is to improve equal and timely access to health promotion and disease prevention services by providing health promotion and disease prevention measures in Saldus Municipality for all citizens, especially those at risk of poverty, social and territorial exclusion, in all age groups. Taking into account the areas identified in the project, the needs and interests of the population, from Q4 2024 to 2029 For the 3rd quarter, a number of consecutive measures are planned, which are aimed at changing the lifestyle habits of the population and taking greater responsibility for their health.The project activities envisage evidence-based and data-based health promotion and disease prevention measures, including hybrid measures to prevent premature mortality, incapacity for work, promote quality of life and improve the health literacy of the population, for all inhabitants of Saldus county at all ages and for different target groups. The activities under the project contribute to the achievement of the specific support objective result indicator 'population that has changed dietary and other lifestyle habits due to health considerations in the last year as a result of the European Social Fund Plus health promotion measures'. The project output indicator is Saldus municipality, which has received support.The total cost of the project is EUR 210 504.00, including EUR 178 928.40 from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and EUR 31 575.60 from the State budget.
