Cēsis municipality is implementing the project ‘Improvement of energy efficiency of Cēsis City Secondary School’ as part of the implementation of the first round of project application selection under measure 2.1.1.6 ‘Implementation of the first round of project application selection’ of Cabinet Regulation No 480 of 16 July 2024 ‘Implementation of the specific support objective 2.1.1 ‘Promotion of energy efficiency and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions’ of the European Union Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027’. The project is being implemented to improve the energy efficiency of municipal buildings and directly related infrastructure in order to reduce the annual primary energy consumption and save energy by introducing the most effective measures to improve the energy efficiency and thermal resilience of municipal buildings. The project is planned to be implemented for 2025-2027. Its total planned cost is EUR 3 910 812.10, including value added tax (construction works, author's supervision and construction supervision), of which the estimated ERDF funding is EUR 2 067 187.44, including value added tax. The projected reduction in annual primary energy consumption is 344 531.24 kWh/year.
