Within the framework of the specific support objective 5.1.1 "Promotion of integrated social, economic and environmental development of the local territory and promotion of cultural heritage, tourism and security in functional urban areas" of the European Union cohesion policy programme 2021-2027, measure 5.1.1.7 "Development of regional cultural infrastructure to improve access to cultural services", a project will be implemented on the new construction of the Vidzeme Regional Centre of the National Archives of Latvia, the Cēsis History and Art Museum repository and the central archive building of the State Land Service Vidzeme Regional Administration in Cēsis. The project is planned to be implemented from November 2024 to December 2027. The implementation of the project is planned for 38 months, providing that the agreement on the implementation of the projects will be concluded in the 4th quarter of 2024. The total planned cost of the project is EUR 17 930 000 (including construction work, author's supervision and construction supervision), which is the amount with VAT, of which the expected European Regional Development Fund co-financing to cover the eligible costs of the project is EUR 8 207 243.00, municipal financing is EUR 9 722 757.00.
