The aim of the project "Infrastructure for Business Support" is to develop the public infrastructure of entrepreneurship and increase the amount of private investment in functional areas of cities by investing in the development of entrepreneurship in accordance with the development programmes of local governments. The development of streets and the infrastructure adjacent to them are activities aimed at the development of entrepreneurship, which facilitate the placement of new merchants or the expansion of existing merchants in the territory of the city of Cēsis municipality, promoting employment and economic activity in municipalities.The project is planned to be implemented by 31 December 2026. The total cost of the project is EUR 4 656 816.44, which consists of eligible construction costs of EUR 4 331 606.92, outside the project construction costs of EUR 285 351.63 (increase of EUR 102 471.88 for reconstruction works of Lapsu street as a result of the procurement, EUR 182 879.75 for water supply, sewerage and electronic communications system costs), author's supervision costs of EUR 7 744 and construction supervision costs of EUR 32 113.89, including VAT. ERDF co-financing 1 754 638 EUR.
