The aim of the project is to develop the public infrastructure of entrepreneurship and increase the amount of private investment in the functional territory of Bauska city by rebuilding the road section in accordance with the mid-term priorities of the municipal development programme Growing development environment for entrepreneurs and Achievable region and mobile resident. The project will contribute to the long-term strategy of the municipality. The target group is entrepreneurs in the tourism, agricultural and industrial sectors. The project is implemented in the ownership of the municipality.The project will involve the reconstruction of the road, including road surface renovation works, the construction of pedestrian paths and the improvement of the water drainage system, territory improvement, construction supervision and author's supervision, as well as publicity measures. At the moment, the road is in poor condition, it is seasonally difficult to drive out, the overgrowth at the edges of the carriageway hinders the drainage of water from the road. As a result of the implementation of the project, the business environment will improve, which will facilitate the attraction of investments. The planned results of the project - increase of the salary fund in private companies - EUR 898 730; private non-financial investments in intangible and fixed assets amounting to EUR 4 090 186.00. The total cost is EUR 1 089 592.02, of which EUR 926 153.22 from the ERDF. The project will be implemented after the conclusion of the agreement on the implementation of the project by 31 December 2026.
