The aim of the project is to modernise and improve the infrastructure of vocational education institutions and colleges of the Ministry of Education and Science, including investments in smart energy management, environmentally friendly long-term management solutions for saving or extracting energy from renewable sources and environmental friendly education institutions in demonstration benchmarking initiatives, with priority support for activities in which it is planned to achieve primary energy savings of not less than 30 per cent. The implementation of the project is ensured by the State Education Development Agency in cooperation with 23 vocational education institutions. The activities planned within the framework of the project are directly aimed at achieving the objective of the project by introducing climate-neutral solutions in the educational programmes, environment and infrastructure of vocational education institutions and colleges. The project will implement the following activities and achieve the following results:?? Promotion of smart management of vocational education institutions, including implementation of information and communication technology solutions digitalisation of management process - 3 systems (platforms); Automation and energy efficiency improvement of training and/or common infrastructure of vocational education institutions and related engineering networks - 23 educational institutions; Development and implementation of environmentally friendly long-term management solutions for saving or extracting energy from renewable resources - 23 educational institutions; Environmentally friendly educational institution performance demonstration, benchmarking initiatives - 4 educational institutions; Development and implementation of a data-based energy management system in 23 educational institutions; Ensuring the accessibility of the environment and information by installing visual aids in 23 educational institutions; Measures to ensure communication and visual identity requirements - ensured communication and visual identity requirements;? Ensuring project management and implementation - The State Education Development Agency provides project management. The total eligible financing of the project is EUR 16 121 138.00, of which 85% is from the European Regional Development Fund? 13 702 967.00 euros? and 15% co-financing of the state budget in the amount of 2 418 171.00 euros. Project implementation period: from the conclusion of the agreement until 31 December 2029. The implementation of the project activities started on 1 October 2024.
