The aim of the project "Improvement of Infrastructure and Learning Environment in Palsa Primary School" is to organise a network of special education institutions in Smiltene Municipality and to improve the learning environment and infrastructure in order to increase the capacity of Palsa Primary School to provide high-quality special education. The planned activities include:Electrical installation and lighting replacement for the improvement of the learning environment;Improvement of electronic communications networks, installation of fire detection alarms, replacement of the heating system;Establishment of new bathrooms for the rearrangement of the study rooms;Environmental accessibility provision;Splitting works, creation of new study rooms;Internet premises.In addition to construction works, the project also includes design, author's supervision, construction supervision and expert-examination costs.The total eligible costs of the project are EUR 960 775.90, of which EUR 327 586.00 is ERDF funding and EUR 633 189.90 is co-financing by Smiltene municipality.The implementation of the project is planned until 31 December 2029.
