The project ‘Increasing the availability of community-based social services in Saulkrasti Municipality’ provides for the construction of a community-based social services centre – a Day Care Centre for adults with mental disabilities, for whom a disability group I or II has been determined, and for children with functional disabilities, for whom a disability has been determined and who live in families. The day care centre will be located at 23A Stirnu Street, Saulkrasti, in a place convenient for customers and next to the Saulkrasti health and social care centre.By 31.12.2027, the premises of the day care centre will be constructed and equipped with material and technical support, where a community-based social service can be provided to 9 children with functional disorders, who have a disability and live in families and 9 adults with mental disorders, for whom a disability group I or II has been determined. After the commissioning of the premises, until 31.12.2029, the premises were provided to persons of the target group of community-based social services.The total project costs are planned to be EUR 1 755 119.87, of which ESF+ cross-financing for the European Regional Development Fund area costs is 85% (EUR 1 491 851.89) and municipal co-financing is planned to be 15% (EUR 263 267.98).
