In order to promote the economic activity of Alūksne municipality, it is necessary to develop public infrastructure by cleaning up the existing street network, so that the municipality is attractive for the development of small and medium-sized business (including service providers) and for ensuring competitiveness, facilitating the transition to a climate-neutral economy. Due to the lack of funding, it has not been possible to improve it for several years, which significantly affects the business development potential.The project will result in the creation of the necessary public infrastructure for entrepreneurship in the city of Alūksne, making investments in the development of the street network, ensuring environmentally friendly and sustainable growth of the territory, contributing to the transition to a climate neutral economy.The main activity planned under the project is the development of public traffic infrastructure through the reconstruction of the section of Helēna Street from Jāņkalna Street to Dārza Street, Blaumaņa Street, and the section of Tirker Street.At least 1 merchant will benefit from the developed public infrastructure, at least 4 new jobs will be created, and non-financial investments in intangible investments and fixed assets of at least EUR 280 000 will be attracted.The total cost of the project is EUR 494 117.65, including JTF financing of EUR 420 000.00. Local government co-financing of the project eligible costs in the amount of 74 117.65 EUR. Outside the project costs 146 479,71 EUR, which is intended to be covered from local government budget resources.Planned total duration of the project implementation - within 15 months from the conclusion of the agreement on the project implementation.
