The aim of the project is to improve the study environment of Riga Technical College (RTK), to ensure the modernization of the study environment of the college - STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), including creative industries and medicine, and the introduction of technologies corresponding to the industry in the study process.By carrying out the modernization of the study environment of Riga Technical College and implementing project activities directly related to the improvement of study programmes and the development of the study environment, as a result of which modern education is provided, which increases the competitiveness of graduates in the labour market.The main activities of the project implementation:- Development of a laboratory of security systems,- Establishment of a computer classroom,- Establishment of a laboratory of refrigeration equipment, - Development of a laboratory of Mechatronics,- Purchase of equipment for the study programme of road transport.The total project costs EUR 498 064.00 - will be financed from the following sources:ERDF financing 423 354, 60 EUR and 74709,60 EUR - financing from the State budget.The financial sources for the implementation of the project are 85% - ERDF financing, 15% - co-financing from the State budget.The implementation period of the project is 24 months, providing for the implementation of the project to start on 1 July 2025.It is planned to publish on the official website and social media websites a short description of the project, proportionate to the amount of support, including its objectives and results, and an indication that the project has been co-financed with financial support received from the European Union.At the same time, in documents and communication materials related to the implementation of the project, which are intended to be disseminated to the public or participants, it is planned to provide a notice in a visible form highlighting the support received from the European Union.In accordance with Paragraph 79 of the Cabinet Regulation, information on the progress of the project implementation on the website will be updated as soon as it is available to the public, but not less than once every six months.
