The aim of the project is to provide financial support to LBTU doctoral students for carrying out research related to the doctoral study process and the successful development of the doctoral thesis. Involvement of 23 doctoral students in study or scientific research work at a higher education institution or in the organisation of a project co-operation partner is planned for at least 12 months within the framework of the project, not exceeding 50% of the full workload. It is planned that at least 25% of the supported doctoral students will obtain a doctoral degree by the end of the project. By 31 December 2029, it is planned to create at least 5.75 research jobs in full-time equivalent terms in LBTU and partner organisations, maintaining the newly created job for at least 1 year after the doctoral student's involvement in the project has ended. The total funding of the project is EUR 1 404 492.97, including EUR 1 193 819.02 from the European Regional Development Fund and EUR 210 673.95 from the State budget.
