The aim of the project ‘Provision of educational institutions for the qualitative implementation of improved general education content in primary and secondary education’ (hereinafter ‘the project’) is to strengthen the provision of educational institutions with the resources necessary for the implementation of modern and high-quality primary and secondary education in order to ensure compliance with the needs of the improved learning content, thereby improving equal access to inclusive and high-quality services in the field of education, including the preparatory phase for five-year-olds and six-year-olds. Acquisition of computer equipment for the target group of the project - teachers of local governments and state-founded general (including pre-school) educational institutions, vocational educational institutions, state-founded higher education institutions, support staff; students of local governments, State-founded vocational education institutions and State-founded higher education institutions who acquire vocational basic education programmes and vocational secondary education programmes after the acquisition of basic education; as well as for students of local government and state-founded general education institutions and state-founded higher education institutions who acquire general basic education programmes and general secondary education programmes and its distribution to cooperation partners;2.Development of recommendations for educational institutions and education of educational institutions about interactive learning platforms and learning management platforms for their wider use and recording of usage dynamics;3.Provision of support to cooperation partners for the instruction and training of computer hardware user groups;4.Provision of project management and implementation;5.Communication and visual identity measures on the implementation of the project.The following national indicators shall be achieved within the scope of the project:By 31 December 2025, the provision of computer hardware for the implementation of the content of general education shall be at least 80 per cent of the total amount of workload rates of teachers and support staff (implementing the content of general education (including pre-schools));By 31 December 2025,75 per cent of State and local government-founded educational institutions and state-founded higher education institutions, by 31 December 2025, at least 50 per cent of educational institutions founded by the State and local governments and educational institutions of State-founded higher education institutions implementing general basic education programmes and general secondary education programmes, the technical provision of information and communication for the acquisition of general education content by students has been strengthened. The results of the project will have a positive impact on the changes in the content and approach of education initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science (hereinafter - the Ministry) with the coming into force of the State basic education and State general secondary education standards and will promote the implementation of the improved general education content in educational institutions. As a result of the project, the provision of educational institutions with modern and high-quality resources necessary for the implementation of primary and secondary education will be strengthened in order to ensure compliance with the needs of the improved learning content, thus improving equal access to inclusive and high-quality services in the field of education, including the preparation phase for five-year-olds and six-year-olds.The total eligible funding for the implementation of the project is EUR 25 000 000, which consists of financing from the European Regional Development Fund – EUR 21 250 000 and co-financing from the State budget – EUR 3 750 000. The project implementation period is from the date of conclusion of the agreement on the implementation of the project until 31 December 2025.
