The aim of the project is to improve equal and timely access to health promotion and disease prevention services for inhabitants of Ķekava Municipality by providing health promotion and disease prevention measures. ensuring project management and implementation, health promotion and disease prevention activities for target groups and the local community, communication and visual identity requirements. The action 'Health promotion and disease prevention measures for target groups and the local community' foresees eight sub-actions: sexual and reproductive health, addiction reduction and prevention, trauma reduction, mental health, healthy diet, physical activity, health promotion and improvement of disease prevention, prenatal and early childhood parenting skills programmes.The project’s planned health promotion and disease prevention activities are evidence- and data-based. The activities of the project are planned on the basis of the Health Profile of Latvian Regions and Local Governments developed by the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC), the Guidelines for Local Governments in Health Promotion, the Public Health Guidelines 2021-2027, taking into account the Strategy for Sustainable Development of Ķekava Municipality until 2030. Activities and activities within the framework of the project are planned in compliance with the principles of equality, inclusion, non-discrimination and fundamental rights, paying particular attention to risk groups exposed to financial, geographical and other inequalities.The planned project results are the achievement of the result indicator of the specific support objective, namely: an increase in the population that will have changed their dietary and other lifestyle habits over the last year due to health concerns as a result of the European Social Fund Plus health promotion measures. By 31 December 2029, the value of the indicator under measures under the specific support objective will have been achieved in line with the horizontal principle of ‘Equity, Inclusion, Non-Discrimination and Introduction of Fundamental Rights’.The planned duration of the project is 36 months, the overall and available total eligible funding is EUR 241 053.00, broken down by funding source: The amount of support from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) is EUR 204 895.05 and from the State budget is EUR 36 157.95. The maximum amount of funding from the European Social Fund Plus does not exceed 85 per cent of the total eligible funding of the project. Expected quarter of contract conclusion - 2025/1. It is planned to start the project in the 1st quarter of 2025 and implement it by 31 December 2027, implementing 2504 measures, the unique representatives of the target groups - after the fact.
