The aim of the project is to expand the offer of learning the Latvian language in order to prepare teachers of the Latvian language as a foreign language and to provide modern methods of teaching the Latvian language to adults.The main activities of the project:1.The implementation of the project:1) Development and licensing of the Latvian language study programme;2) Approbation of the Latvian language study programme;3) Inclusion of the licensed Latvian language study programme in the accreditation page of the study direction;4) Communication activities for attracting and selecting the target audience of the Latvian language study programme;2. Project management and implementation; 3. Measures to ensure communication and visual identity requirements for the implementation of the project.The following monitoring indicators will be achieved within the project:1. Output indicator – by 31 December 2028, number of national, regional or local public administrations or public services and services that have received support – 1, including by 31 December 2024 – 1;2. Output indicator – by 31 December 2028, institutions that have implemented improvements in the quality, efficiency and labour market relevance of education and training systems – 1;3. National indicators:- a Latvian language as a foreign language study programme has been developed and licensed by 31 December 2024 – 1 (The achievement of the indicator is justified and ensured by the timetable for the development and submission of the Latvian language as a foreign language study programme for licensing prepared by the project applicant, which foresees that by 31 December 2024 – a positive opinion of the Study Programme Quality Assessment Commission of the project applicant has been received on the further development of the Latvian language as a foreign language study programme and by 31 December 2025 the Latvian language as a foreign language study programme has been developed and licensed); - teachers of the Latvian language as a foreign language for adults have been prepared by 31 December 2028 – at least 80.The planned implementation period of the project is 48 months - from September 2024 to August 2028. The planned time of conclusion of the agreement on the implementation of the project is October 2024.The total eligible costs of the project are EUR 615 498, including ESF+ funding of EUR 523-173 and state budget co-financing of EUR 92 325. The planned funding for the cooperation partner is EUR 30 337.58, including indirect costs of EUR 3 957.08.
