In the gates of the project, investments will be made for the development of the infrastructure of Valdemars Primary School (Jumprava parish) by constructing an extension (module type) to an existing building, the function of which would be to provide school students with an internship and facilities with showers. The construction of the annex will free up space for the installation of additional study rooms. The aim of the project is to organize the special education institution located in Ogre Municipality and to improve the learning environment and infrastructure, material and technical support and teaching aids in order to increase the capacity of special education institutions in the provision of high-quality special education. The target group of the project is special educational institutions founded by local governments, their teachers and students. Project activities: 1.Improving the infrastructure and learning environment of the special education institution, including ensuring accessibility; 2. Acquisition of equipment necessary for the acquisition of special education programmes; 3. Improvement and equipping of the infrastructure of the special educational institution's internship. The total cost is EUR 311 174.12, of which EU co-financing is EUR 264 498. The total duration of the project is 24 months from February 2025 to February 2027. The implementation of the project will start from the date of conclusion of the contract (February 2025).
