Sustainable solutions (rain water drainage from football field) at Meža prospekts 14, Ogre

The project "Sustainable Solutions (rain water drainage from football pitch) Meža prospekts 14, Ogre" (hereinafter - the Project) aims to improve the capacity of the football pitch with artificial cover of Ogre county sports centre to collect and drain rain water by creating a rain water collection system. The new rainwater collection and drainage system would ensure adequate rainwater collection capacity and quality, which in turn would improve the quality of football field use and ensure the object against climate change. The project will examine several solutions to include restoration or new installation of potential drainage infiltration zones and rainwater storage sites (including laying layers, creating "gardens", bio-covers, bio-bands, etc.) in order to ensure system capacity after heavy rainfall. "Green infrastructure" is planned for the whole territory of the object (0.06 ha), because it is planned to implement a "rain garden", including in the territory of the football field, where recycled rubber artificial covering material and porasphalt will be used, which under the football field will drain water into deeper layers, as well as water drainage, as well as bio-coverage, green wall and other improvement works, which are climate neutral. The beneficiary of financing Ogre municipality will implement the following activities within the framework of the project: to build drainage and rainwater sewerage - "rain garden"; rebuild the football field; to carry out improvement works, including the construction of a bio-coverage; ensuring the accessibility of the environment; to invest in civil protection activities, etc. Although the football pitch is maintained by the Sports Centre of Ogre Municipality, it is used in the mornings of working days for sports activities at the Ogre Centre Primary School, as well as it is a meeting place in case of school evacuation, the results of the project will be freely available for use by all groups of society, namely people of all ages, people with reduced mobility (also currently until 8:00 am or outside the school and during training and school sports activities the pitch is available for people to do sports), as well as the horizontal or the principle of equality is being and will be improved. The planned implementation period of the project is 2025. The total financing of the project in case of approval of the project, according to the estimate of construction costs drawn up by the developer of the construction project, is EUR 599 994.10, incl. It's a great way to get to know each other and get to know each other. Of the total amount of ERDF co-financing for the project, it is planned to make an advance request of up to 20%, along with the commencement of construction works. Other activities necessary for the implementation of the Project, such as the development of the construction design, author's supervision and construction supervision, will be financed from the financial resources of the Sports Centre of Ogre Municipality. Within the framework of the project, at least 70% (by weight) of non-hazardous construction and demolition waste generated on the construction site during construction (except natural materials) will be prepared for reuse, recycling and recovery of other materials (including backfilling operations in which waste is used to replace other materials), in accordance with the requirements of Paragraph 6 of Cabinet Regulation No 712 of 26 October 2021 on the separate collection, preparation for re-use, recycling and material recovery of waste.
