DAUGAVA farm is engaged in waste sorting and recycling (types of activities according to NACE classification - 38.11 Waste collection (except hazardous waste), 38.32 Sorted materials recycling). The company has a waste management permit No LA22AA0002 and a permit for Category B polluting activity No AP23IB0031. ZS “DAUGAVA” plans to implement the project by investing in the existing site in Jekabpils - to set up a construction and demolition waste recycling facility, thus contributing to the transition to a circular economy. The project will invest in the fixed assets necessary for waste recycling (crushing plant, screening plant, hydraulic fissile hammer), as well as public education and environmental awareness measures, communication and visual identity requirements. The total eligible costs of the project amount to EUR 567 476.98, including public eligible costs of EUR 435 182.73, private eligible costs of EUR 132 294.25. As a result of the project, additional capacity for waste recycling of 10 500 tonnes per year will be created and 1 company will be supported. The project is planned to be implemented from Q1 2025 to Q4 2025.
