The aim of the project is to modernise the educational environment of the colleges of the Ministry of the Interior for the acquisition of skills relevant to the sectors. In order to implement the project, the following main activities of the project are planned: project management and administration; development of documentation of the construction intention, expert-examination; construction supervision, author's supervision service; construction works, purchase of equipment, installation, publicity measures. The measures will ensure the construction and equipping of the Janapole training area for the State Border Guard College, the development of infrastructure for the State Police College by constructing a sports complex and the establishment of 10 training modules for the Fire Safety and Civil Protection College. Thus, in general, modernising the educational environment of the colleges of the Ministry of the Interior for the acquisition of skills relevant to the sectors. Given the current geopolitical situation, it is important to invest in creating a learning environment for students of the State Border Guard College as close as possible to the real working environment of the border guard. The State Police College, in order to significantly improve the performance and prestige of the functions of the State Police, and to reduce the threat to the internal security of the State due to the lack of physical training of the State Police officers. Modernising the training environment of the Fire Safety and Civil Protection College, in order to ensure the implementation of the strategic priorities of the SFRS, would make a significant contribution to improving the training environment at the Fire Safety and Civil Protection College, where specialists are trained in the fields of fire safety, fire-fighting and rescue, civil protection and emergency assistance. In order to implement the project, the following main activities of the project are planned: 1.Purchase of training equipment, equipment, 2.Implementation of information and communication technology solutions for digitalisation of learning content and process, ensuring availability and capacity of ICT, 3.Improvement of infrastructure, learning and sharing environment of vocational education institution, including ensuring accessibility of environment and information (development of documentation of construction intention, expertise; construction supervision, author's supervision, engineering consultant service; construction works), 4.Measures to ensure communication and visual identity requirements, 5.Project management and implementation. As a result of the project, the modernization of the educational environment of the colleges of the Ministry of the Interior will be ensured for the acquisition of skills relevant to the sectors. In accordance with Article 10.3 of the Cabinet Regulation, the total eligible cost financing available for the implementation of the project does not exceed EUR 8 995 895, including the European Regional Development Fund financing of EUR 7 646510 and the State budget co-financing of EUR 1 349385. The project implementation period is from December 2024 to 31 December 2028.
