TEQU Hub creates new ways for Lapland's innovation actors to support the growth of competitiveness of SMEs in the region in the areas of digitalization and the green transition, so that companies get excited, dare and activate to develop their business operations. TEQU Hub especially improves the innovation capacity of the R&D units of the Lapland University of Applied Sciences to support the development of companies in the region. The project creates the TEQU Hub innovation model which systematically produces new innovations with strong cooperation with businesses. Agile innovation culture is supported and the goal it to broaden that approach for other university members as well. The project creates an overview of the future of technology, creates a model for bringing companies' problems and ideas into the scope of suitable innovation environments, collects 20 prototype ideas from companies, implements 10 public technology prototypes, creates impact and large-scale dissemination of results and development activities through video publications, helps cluster operators to develop their innovation service concepts and organizes inspiring events for operators to develop their innovation and network skills. With TEQU Hub, the cooperation between companies and innovation partners in the region deepens and expands, and new success stories in the areas of new products, services and methods based on technology begin to emerge in the region. The project will be implemented in 2023-2025.
