'Xstory - Lapland narratives with experience technologies'- project focuses on integrating experiences into services built around stories from Lapland and delivered using extended reality (XR) technology. XR uses virtual and augmented reality technologies, such as virtual reality (VR) glasses, tangible and gestural user interfaces and mobile applications. Lapland's stories and history are conceptualized and prototype service and application examples are developed through historical materials and 3D modeling. The project aims to improve the readiness of the Lapland region’s experience and service companies to utilize XR technologies.
