Peto - Training of rescue situations in a virtual environment project results in a new kind of training environment for practicing rescue situations that is created in cooperation with rescue professionals. With the help of digitalization, Peto provides an improved training environment compared to the current situation. The platform includes a sandbox for training environment, where situations can be created and saved, and various scenarios can be shared to other users. The project expands the smart table platform already in use at KAMK to support the training of rescue operations by building the necessary assets with the guidance of professionals in the field. With the support of rescue workers, features are added to the application that can expand the current rescue training to be much more detailed and scalable. The goal is that the training environment can be used in the normal training of rescue operations after the project, and its development will be continued through the results already collected during the project. The results of the project include the training environment to be used and utilized as well as the documentation for a more diverse organization of the training in question. The project aims to create a high-quality and innovative training environment that will be suitable for all professionals participating in rescue operations and crisis management situations in the future.
