Factors characterising the Lapland region, such as long distances and Lapland's experience in distance management, the imbalance in the availability of welfare services and the aged population, enable an interesting value-adding environment for the innovation activities of companies in the field of wellbeing and health technology. At the moment, there are already a few companies in the area. However, Lapland has the potential to increase the number of technology companies operating in the sector. This requires a new approach and special activities also from Lapland University of Applied Sciences. Companies in the field of welfare and health technology are typically SMEs. It is not possible for these small companies to build the development environments they need within their own framework. The main goal of this project is to create the first version of the testbed operating model and service offering aimed at supporting innovation and product development in the field of wellbeing and health technology for Lapland University of Applied Sciences, which will be implemented after the project has ended. This is achieved by bringing development environments into a customer-oriented common picture in a new way, combining development environments and related expertise. Project work packages: WP1: Benchmark and connection to the national testbed network WP2: An overall picture of the current state combining the development environments of Lapland University of Applied Sciences and mirroring the overall picture produced to the offering of the national testbed network WP 3 Target setting, own profiling/specialisation and related development needs WP 4 Piloting a prioritised, profile-based range of services and operating model TP 5 Lapland University of Applied Sciences customer-oriented testbed website and promotion of discoverability WP6 Project management and communication
