The project aims to promote the technological development of industrial construction actors, support regional component suppliers in creating innovative product solutions, and develop example solutions for integrating industrial operational models into construction factory production. The target group includes SMEs in the Northern Ostrobothnia region involved in manufacturing building components, modules, or prefabricated solutions, as well as companies developing construction technologies, material suppliers, and research organizations. Special focus is placed on supporting companies with growth potential in adopting new technologies, improving production processes, and developing innovative business models. The project comprises three work packages: utilizing new technologies, developing innovative product solutions, and integrating industrial operational models into construction. The first focuses on technology transfer through simulation models and demonstrations to illustrate the impact of new technologies on resource management, costs, and supply chains while lowering adoption barriers. The second identifies and develops construction products to improve manufacturability and scalability through workshops and tools tailored to industrial construction needs. The third facilitates integration by helping companies map their production strengths and development needs, offering tools in areas such as modularity, Lean construction, and automation to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
