This is a service system that offers security and provides a sense of security to people living alone, residents and staff of home care as well as public and private elderly care facilities. The service helps and facilitates the work of the staff of home care and public and private care facilities. It also brings savings while allowing for a sense of security to the loved ones of those being cared for. In addition, the service enables the elderly to live at home or in a home-like living environment for longer. It helps in creating an atmosphere where one’s elderly relative can feel cared for and their well-being is looked after. This project will enable the development of user interfaces, as well as the internal and external interfaces suitable for the system's service model into entities that can be integrated with the systems of public and private care providers. The goal is to create a service that, in addition to the domestic market, can be implemented in the international market with as little localization work as possible. The technical platforms will remain in Finland unless local legislation of a country prevents it.
